Description
An assortment of American-made primary writing chalkboard sets intended for handwriting instruction. Each set features a hardboard chalkboard with a black surface and green permanent guidelines, accompanied by a stick of white chalk and a yellow synthetic sponge eraser. The sets are new old stock, individually sealed in their original manufacturer shrink wrap. The lower left of each board is marked with a logo of a figure in a box and the text Ideal. A copyright symbol and partial year date 19 are also present. Centered at the bottom of the board is text reading PLY COMPANY, . The internal instructional insert depicts a frog logo labeled HAPPY HOPPY CHALKBOARDS and the title Happy Hoppy Writing Chalkboard. The text on the insert identifies the manufacturer as the Ideal School Supply Company and includes the origin mark Made in U.S.A. The collection is housed in two large cardboard shipping cartons.
