Lot 785:
Description
A six-light ceiling fixture constructed from painted metal in the toleware style. The chandelier is designed as a floral bouquet featuring numerous daisy-like flowers with white-painted petals and yellow-orange centers, surrounded by jagged, dark-toned foliage. A decorative blue-painted element resembling a twisted rope gathers the metal stems at the base. Six scrolling arms extend outward, each supporting a foliate-molded bobeche and a white plastic candle-style socket. The fixture includes a metal suspension chain and a matching circular ceiling canopy. Paper identification tags are attached to the fixture, but the handwritten information on them is not legible. No maker marks or signatures are visible on the metal components. The chandelier is wired for electricity with six sockets, though the functionality is untested and the wiring appears. Professional inspection and potential rewiring are recommended before installation.
