Description
A pair of drop earrings featuring stylized mask pendants crafted from a brass-toned metal. Each mask is oval in shape, featuring a repousse-style elongated face with slit-cut eyes and an open mouth. The border of each mask is decorated with a repeating incised geometric pattern. The pendants are suspended from bronze-toned fishhook ear wires. One earring includes a lower decorative drop consisting of a cowrie shell attached via wire and small black seed beads. The second earring contains three pre-drilled holes at the base. The reverse of the pendants is concave, indicating a pressed metal construction.
