Description
This lot consists of an assortment of metal decorative and functional objects. It includes a two-piece cast white metal horse head still bank with a hollowed interior, featuring handwritten blue ink marks T 3 on the inner surface of one half. A circular openwork cast iron trivet with a loop handle rests on three feet and features a central whirling motif and heart-shaped patterns, with visible traces of original red, yellow, and green cold paint. The collection features a small brass candlestick with an enameled base decorated with peacock and floral motifs in red, green, and cream. A tapered brass hose nozzle is included, featuring a threaded base stamped CHINA. A decorative cast brass rocking horse is mounted to a cylindrical brass drum base accented with wire and bead detailing. The lot also contains a group of clock winding keys in various sizes, featuring cast brass wing-style and steel barrel-style keys, several of which are bundled with twine. Two matching small cast brass wheels with a six-spoke design complete the grouping.
