Description
A collection of thirteen vintage Halloween-themed decorative novelty candles attributed to mid-century manufacturers such as Gurley Novelty Co. and Tavern. The items are produced from molded paraffin wax with hand-painted surface details. The assortment includes a tall Frankenstein monster figure, a tall green-faced witch with a broom, a ghost figure holding a pumpkin, a standing clown or jester with pumpkin accents, a seated witch figure with a blue cat and broom, two individual jack-o-lantern pumpkins of different sizes, three candy corn-shaped candles, and a horizontal row of six small jack-o-lanterns on a log. The horizontal log candle features an original printed paper sign reading PUMPKINS FOR SALE. Three figures?the Frankenstein, the tall witch, and the ghost?are sealed in their original clear factory shrink-wrap.
