Description

A collection of four pieces of transparent light green Depression-era glass featuring two distinct molded patterns. The group includes three pieces in the Cameo pattern, also known as Ballerina, attributed to the Hocking Glass Company. These pieces consist of a shallow bowl, a double-handled creamer, and a single candlestick holder, each decorated with a classical female figure in an oval frame flanked by floral garlands. The fourth item is a handled platter or cake plate in the Sunflower pattern, attributed to the Jeannette Glass Company, featuring a large central floral motif with radiating lines and textured handles. All four items exhibit a bright neon green fluorescence when exposed to ultraviolet light, confirming the glass contains uranium as a coloring agent.
