Description
8 in wide This is a vintage one-piece citrus juicer reamer crafted from green uranium glass, a type of glassware produced during the American Depression era. The object features a central, pointed reaming cone with multiple facets, situated within a wide, shallow reservoir bowl. The exterior of the bowl is decorated with a repeating pattern of vertical ribs or flutes. It includes an integrated pouring spout and a single molded loop handle. The glass composition includes uranium oxide, which produces a characteristic bright neon green fluorescence under ultraviolet light. There are no maker’s marks or signatures present on the item. The base is a molded, smooth circular foot.
