Description
8 in dia and 7.5 in tall This wooden firkin is manufactured by Basketville of Putney, Vermont. The piece features a stave-constructed cylindrical body reinforced by two darkened metal hoops. It includes a matching circular wooden lid with a central turned knob and a bentwood swing handle secured to the body with wooden pegs. The underside of the base bears a semicircular stamped maker’s mark with the text BASKETVILLE PUTNEY VERMONT.
