Description
4.5 in dia and 4 in tall This contemporary salt-glazed stoneware miniature crock was produced by Beaumont Brothers Pottery of Ohio. The piece features a tapered cylindrical form with a flared rim and is finished with a traditional salt glaze that displays a characteristic orange peel texture. Decoration consists of a hand-painted cobalt blue floral sprig on the exterior wall and a wide cobalt blue band encircling the rim. The interior is coated with a dark brown Albany-type slip glaze. The base is incised with the maker’s mark BBP above the date 1996.
