Description
66 x 82 This item is a hand-pieced patchwork quilt top constructed from various cotton and cotton-blend fabrics. The design is organized into two distinct checkerboard sections separated by a solid rust-colored border strip. One section utilizes alternating squares of blue and white plaid and solid cream fabric. The second section features alternating squares of a solid rust-colored fabric with a subtle sheen and a small-scale floral print featuring brown and tan blossoms on a light background. The reverse side reveals that the squares are joined with hand-sewn running stitches, with exposed seam allowances and visible knots. This is an unfinished quilt top and does not include batting, backing, or finished binding.
