Each applique is secured with visible white hand-stitching and features a decorative tufted yarn tie in the center, primarily in red with some white accents. The textile is finished with a navy blue fabric binding. The reverse consists of a single panel of solid navy blue fabric, showing the entry points of the yarn ties and the hand-stitched border.
