Description
60 x 75 This is an unfinished vintage quilt top of American origin, likely dating to the mid-20th century. The piece is constructed of machine-pieced solid fabrics, including deep purple, sage green, and an off-white muslin or cotton blend. The design features twelve geometric blocks arranged in a grid, separated by sage green sashing and finished with a wide sage green border. Each individual block is a nine-patch variation containing a central white square surrounded by half-square triangle units that form a geometric star motif. The reverse side shows exposed machine-stitched seam allowances and the unfinished nature of the textile.
