Description
An antique Victorian art glass syrup pitcher, attributed to the Mt. Washington Glass Company with metal mounts in the style of Pairpoint. The vessel features a bulbous body of opaque pink satin glass with a soft, matte finish. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted polychrome enamel flowers, including purple and yellow blooms accented with raised white dots. These floral elements are surrounded by gilded scrollwork and stylized foliage. The pitcher is fitted with a silver-plated metal collar featuring a beaded rim and a hinged, scalloped lid. The lid is surmounted by an ornate, pierced scrollwork finial. A decorative scrolled handle is integrated into the metal mount.
