Description
This is a pressed glass decorative slipper produced by the Fenton Art Glass Company. The piece is rendered in Amberina glass, characterized by a color gradient that transitions from a deep ruby red at the toe and rim to a translucent orange-yellow at the base and heel. The design features a figural cat’s head at the vamp, a motif known as the Cat Head or Kitten pattern. The body of the slipper is decorated with a molded drapery or swirled texture, and the rim is scalloped. It features a solid block-style heel. A partial Fenton Art Glass foil label is present on the side of the heel, displaying the cursive letter f in an oval above the word FENTON and the text Handmade in USA. A small yellow inventory sticker is affixed to the interior.
