Lot 7:
Description
This lot features two pieces of marigold carnival glass, both manufactured using mold-pressed techniques with a metallic iridescent finish. The first item is a ruffled bowl in the Amelia pattern, featuring a repeating fishscale or scalloped interior design emanating from a central starburst, finished with a beaded, crimped rim. The second item is a rose bowl in the Star and File pattern, which displays large pressed stars within diamond-shaped panels separated by vertical textured file panels and fern motifs. Both pieces feature molded bases with multi-pointed star designs and do not bear any visible manufacturer marks or pontil scars. These items are consistent with early 20th-century production from the Imperial Glass Company of Ohio.
