Description
This large contemporary decorative centerpiece bowl is constructed from translucent lime green glass. The bowl displays a shallow, flared form that terminates in an organic, scalloped rim. A distinctive radiating zebra or sunburst pattern originates from the central circular well and extends to the edges. This pattern is created by a textured molded design on the exterior underside, where the recessed lines are finished with a metallic silver-tone or platinum-colored leaf. This creates a shimmering, layered effect when viewed through the smooth interior surface of the bowl. The piece is characteristic of contemporary decorative glass often imported from Turkey.
