Description

This collection features various edged weapons from diverse global regions. One item is a Moroccan Koummya dagger, also known as a Khanjar. It features a curved, double-edged steel blade and an I-shaped dark wood hilt with decorative white metal mounts. The matching scabbard is crafted from chased and embossed white metal with a characteristic sharp upward curve and two suspension loops. Another item is a Chinese Seven Star dagger. The straight steel blade is inlaid with seven copper or brass circular markers connected by a wavy incised line representing the Big Dipper constellation. It includes a cast brass hilt with a dragon-head crossguard and a matching brass scabbard heavily embossed with dragon and sun motifs. A third item is a Japanese-style dagger, or tanto, featuring a hilt and scabbard made from a carved material, likely bone, decorated with intricate floral and foliage patterns. The scabbard is reinforced with brass bands and includes a small suspension ring. The final item is a Mexican curved utility knife. The blade ricasso is stamped with Made in Mexico and distributor information. It features a dark grip with a brass crossguard and a light-colored horn pommel cap. It is accompanied by a tooled leather scabbard with embossed geometric and sun designs and scalloped edges.
