Description
This lot features two trucks manufactured by Tonka Toys in Mound, Minnesota, likely dating to the 1960s. The first item is a Tonka Hydraulic Dump Truck, identified by the incised Tonka name on the front bumper and side decals showing the oval logo with the word Hydraulic printed below. It is constructed from pressed steel with a blue body and bed, a white painted cab roof, and a gray plastic grille. The vehicle is equipped with a manual lever-operated dumping bed mechanism and black tires on white hubs. The second item is a Tonka Stake Bed Truck with a matching blue body and white cab roof. It features an integrated stake bed design and corresponding oval Tonka logo decals on the cab doors. Both vehicles include translucent plastic cab windows and gray plastic front bumper and grille assemblies.
