Description
An electric illuminated advertising wall clock produced for the Hamilton Watch Company, featuring branding for the retailer Jewels by Santini’s. This square clock follows a design attributed to Richard Arbib and is constructed with a gilt-tone metal frame and a clear acrylic or plastic face cover. The cream-colored dial includes a blue rectangular inner border with black Arabic numerals at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, and blue wedge markers for the other hours. It is equipped with two tan-colored leaf-style hands and a thin red sweep second hand. The dial face displays the Hamilton logo along with the text HAMILTON WATCH TIME and JEWELS BY Santini’s. The unit is powered by an electric movement with an attached two-prong cord. The metal reverse features two removable square panels for light bulb access, each stamped with a red warning to use only 15 watt lamps.
