Description
This is a KA-BAR Next Generation Fighting/Utility knife, model 1221, manufactured in Olean, New York. This model represents a modernized iteration of the classic WWII-era USMC fighting knife, updated with contemporary materials. The knife features a clip-point blade with a single-sided fuller and a non-reflective, bead-blasted grey finish. The handle is composed of black Kraton-G, a slip-resistant synthetic material, featuring a traditional segmented grip design. The assembly includes a steel crossguard and pommel finished to match the blade. The accompanying sheath is constructed from black glass-filled nylon and includes a black heavy-duty nylon belt loop with dual snap-closure retention straps.
