Description
This collection contains several miniature tools presented in two distinct formats. The first is a blacksmithing-themed set composed of a bridge-style anvil and a ball-peen hammer, both manufactured from cast metal with a dark patinated finish. The tools are displayed on a rectangular wooden base that includes two metal pins designed to hold the hammer. This set resembles nutcracker sets of similar design. The second component is a framed shadow box containing three miniature hand tools and a promotional wooden ruler. The items are mounted on white fiber backing in a black frame. The wooden ruler is stamped with the text BOYS UNION TOOL CHEST and contains a standard 6-inch scale. Beside the ruler are a miniature rake with a metal head and a wooden handle, and a hooked metal tool with a copper-colored ferrule and a wooden handle.
