Description
39.5x 32 x 69.5. Very professionally restored. This item will not be moved. You muct pick it up on location in Canfield Ohio. This is a large, double-door floor safe that has undergone a professional restoration. The exterior is finished in a high-gloss deep green paint. The front exterior doors feature the Wells Fargo name in red block letters with gold-toned drop shadows, positioned above the text Est. 1852 in gold-toned script. The unit utilizes a safe-within-a-safe construction, containing a secondary set of thinner white-painted inner double doors marked Wells Fargo El Paso Bank. The safe is constructed of heavy-gauge steel and cast iron. Decorative elements include gold-painted rope-style molding along the top and vertical corners, accented by acanthus leaf-style corner guards. The side panels feature a recessed six-panel design. The locking mechanism consists of a single combination dial and two T-handle door pulls on the outer doors. The interior is finished in white and includes a smaller locked compartment in the upper left corner. The unit is mounted on four heavy-duty iron casters. While branded for Wells Fargo, the design and hardware are consistent with late 19th to early 20th-century American safe manufacturers such as Hall’s Safe Co. or Victor Safe & Lock Co.
