Description
A vintage electric wringer washing machine manufactured by Maytag, featuring a white enameled square-form tub. The unit is supported by a white three-legged metal base equipped with casters for mobility. The front of the tub displays a Maytag script logo, and the lid features a multi-color crest decal depicting a muscular arm and an hourglass. A polished metal rim at the top of the tub is stamped with the identification number 637380W. The top-mounted wringer assembly contains black and tan rollers and is embossed with the Maytag name along with the functional labels RELEASE and SAFETY. The interior of the tub houses a metal agitator with four vanes. An electric motor is mounted to the lower frame assembly, and a black rubber drain hose is attached to the exterior. The lot includes a tan vinyl cover and a collection of color photographs documenting the machine in an unrestored state.
