Description
This collection consists of three hand-painted bisque porcelain bald eagle figurines, each mounted on a finished circular wooden base. The central figurine is definitively identified by a gold-tone maker mark on the underside as a Maruri USA piece from the American Eagle Gallery, Studio Design E-9555, dated 1995. It depicts a bald eagle with wings spread wide, descending toward a textured tree stump. A gold foil sticker on the bottom of this piece indicates it was made in Malaysia. The second figurine, positioned on the left, features a bald eagle perched on a rocky outcrop with its wings partially extended and head turned. The third figurine, positioned on the right, portrays a bald eagle in a landing pose on a branch with its wings swept upward and talons extended. This piece retains a paper auction tag numbered 377.
