Description
This framed offset lithograph is a reproduction of the 1929 illustration titled Making Friends by American artist Norman Rockwell. The scene depicts a young boy in a vest and hat kneeling beside a large steamer trunk, petting a collie while a small terrier-type dog looks on. The collie features a collar tag with a prominent letter R. The print is housed under glass within a matted light oak-finished wooden frame. A brass-toned plaque is mounted to the mat directly below the image and is inscribed with the name Norman Rockwell in black serif lettering. The reverse of the frame features a corrugated cardboard backing secured with metal tabs and a sawtooth hanger. No hand-signature, edition numbering, or publisher marks are visible on the print face.
