Description
This is an Arts and Crafts style footstool or step stool crafted from stained wood. The design features a rectangular top with rounded corners and a central oval cutout for easy transport. It is constructed in a trestle form, with two slab-sided legs joined by a single horizontal stretcher. The joinery utilizes through-tenons on the legs, which are secured with small wooden pegs. Decorative elements include a scalloped apron below the top and V-shaped cutouts at the base of each leg. The entire piece is finished with a dark reddish-brown stain.
