Description
This group of furniture includes a compact square dining table and matching ladderback chairs. The table is constructed from quartersawn oak, characterized by prominent medullary rays and flecking on the two-plank top. The base consists of four curved, tapered legs joined by a lower shelf featuring a scalloped or waveline edge. The set includes matching post-and-rung ladderback side chairs, each featuring two horizontal back slats, rounded finials, and a box stretcher base with ring-turned front rungs. The chairs are fitted with woven splint or flat-reed seats and are accompanied by circular blue braided seat pads.
