Lot 137:
Trio of Mallard Hen & Duckling Figurines
Sold for: $25
Description
A set of three decorative figurines including one hen mallard and two matching ducklings. The items are crafted from a cast resin or composite material in the style of traditional wood-carved decoys, featuring detailed relief patterns mimicking individual feathers and wood texture. The hen mallard displays a painted teal speculum with black and white borders, along with an orange bill and inset amber-colored eyes. The ducklings are rendered in a similar resting pose with matching color palettes. The larger duck retains a grey felt base and a paper sticker reading MADE IN USA. Both ducklings are marked with an incised CP or GP monogram above a horizontal line on the rear flank.
