Description
A Colonial Revival style floor-standing candelabrum constructed of wrought iron with a black finish and polished brass accents. The piece features a central vertical shaft supported by a tripod base with three out-swept legs terminating in shaped penny feet. The shaft is ornamented with brass turned elements and a circular brass base plate. A horizontal crossbar supports two brass candle cups with integrated drip pans. Two accessories, a bell-shaped snuffer and a small ladle or wick dipper, hang from decorative hooks on the crossbar. The central shaft extends above the bar and is topped with a brass acorn-style finial. The item is non-electric and designed for use with taper candles. No maker marks are visible.
