Description
18x 16.5. This wall-mounted vanity rack, frequently categorized as a shaving or comb and brush mirror, is constructed of oak and features decorative machine-pressed elements characteristic of the late Victorian era. The central rectangular mirror is framed by turned side supports and panels decorated with pressed foliate and scroll patterns on the upper crest and lower shelf front. The side supports are joined by a horizontal, light-colored wooden towel bar held by scrolled brackets. The reverse reveals a construction of rough-hewn backboards secured with iron fasteners. A modern paper auction label from Allee Robyn Auctions is present on the back.
