Description
A decorative garden sundial featuring a circular brass dial plate mounted on a fluted pedestal. The pedestal is constructed from cast stone with a tapered fluted shaft and a stepped circular base, finished in a mottled blue and grey paint treatment. The brass dial plate exhibits a natural verdigris patina and is bordered by a light blue painted edge. The face of the dial is incised with Roman numerals ranging from VII to V and features a central engraved compass rose motif. A decorative cast brass gnomon with foliate scrollwork is mounted to the plate. The dial face contains incised characters resembling the letters AA and L flanking the central design.
