Description
A rectangular fused glass panel depicting an Amish-themed rural landscape. The scene features a horse-drawn buggy traveling across rolling hills of green and brown glass. A large, dark stylized tree frames the left side of the composition. A small red barn is situated in the middle ground, and a distant farmstead consisting of a white house, green tree, and red barn is visible on the far-right horizon. A white mailbox with a metal post is positioned in the lower-right foreground. The background is a textured, vibrant blue sky. The panel is constructed from layered pieces of colored glass fused together. The buggy wheels and mailbox post are made from thin wire or metal components applied to the surface. Small air bubbles and surface irregularities are present throughout the glass, characteristic of the hand-crafted fusing process. The reverse of the panel is translucent and bears a paper auction tag. No artist signature or maker mark is visible.
