Description
A large, turned wooden bowl featuring a shallow, round form with wide, tapered sides and a rounded rim. The object is finished entirely in a mustard yellow paint with a slightly glossy surface. The texture of the bowl exhibits subtle horizontal striations and graining consistent with wood-turning techniques. The underside of the bowl features a circular impression in the center; however, the interior details and any potential characters are heavily obscured by the thick paint and surface texture, preventing a definitive identification of a maker. This style is characteristic of American folk art or country-style utility objects.
