Description
This set consists of two identical bookends, each featuring a stylized eagle in a landing or perching pose with wings upswept. The eagles are cast from metal with a polished gold-tone brass finish, showcasing detailed feathering across the wings and bodies. Each figure is mounted on an L-shaped base crafted from heavy, polished black marble characterized by fine white veining. No maker’s marks, signatures, or factory stamps are visible on the metal figures or the marble bases. The design reflects a mid-20th-century traditional Americana style.
