Description
Attributed to artist John Nieto, this set of four matching circular bar trays was produced for the Wolfschmidt Vodka Run with the Wolf promotional campaign of the 1970s. The trays are constructed of lithographed metal with an alcohol-resistant finish. Each features a stylized, sketchy illustration of a crouching wolf in white, mustard yellow, and black on a vibrant red field. The raised black rim is printed with the repeating slogan run with the wolf in a yellow stylized font. Accompanying the trays is abrown paper care sheet titled CAUTION, which provides maintenance instructions intended for commercial bar employees.
