Description
This collection consists of six pieces of vintage American decorative glassware, primarily featuring mid-20th-century styles. The grouping includes one piece with a confirmed manufacturer mark and five associated white milk glass items. The identified piece is a Fenton Art Glass square-bodied planter or cachepot crafted in caramel slag glass, characterized by its swirled brown and cream tones. This commemorative piece features a molded profile portrait of Benjamin Franklin within a circular medallion on the side, a scalloped top rim decorated with embossed stars, and a decorative molded base. An authentic gold foil label reading Authentic Fenton Handmade is present on the interior. The accompanying milk glass pieces include two bowls of different sizes featuring exterior hobnail patterns and crimped, ruffled rims. The set also contains a small flared vase with an all-over hobnail pattern and ruffled rim, one square-top footed compote decorated with a geometric pattern of interlocking crosses and starburst motifs, and one shallow dish with a wide ruffled rim.
