Description
90 x 90 An American handmade patchwork quilt featuring the Ocean Waves pattern with a sawtooth inner border. The textile is constructed from white cotton fabric and two distinct navy blue printed cotton fabrics: one featuring a white star motif and the other a white lattice and floral design. The quilt is finished with a navy blue and white polka-dot outer border. The piece displays extensive hand-quilting throughout. The large white diamond sections are decorated with intricate quilted floral or medallion motifs, while the surrounding areas feature a combination of straight-line and curved quilting patterns. The hand-stitching is fine and consistent, visible on both the front and the plain white reverse side.
