Antiques Quilts and Toppers
Lot 316:
Description
60 x 80 This mid-20th century pieced quilt top features large-scale blocks in a stylized pattern resembling a Maple Leaf or star variation. The construction consists of machine-pieced blocks joined with wide, unbleached cotton sashing. The fabric selection includes a variety of printed and solid-colored textiles, likely cotton or cotton-synthetic blends, characteristic of the 1960s and 1970s. Notable prints include bold psychedelic florals, vibrant stripes, and geometric patterns in a palette of pink, blue, green, and orange. The quilt top is unfinished, lacking batting, backing, and quilting, and features raw, unhemmed edges.
