Description
This set comprises three Pyrex nesting bowls in the Snowflake Garland pattern, manufactured by Corning Glass Works in the United States. These bowls were produced between approximately 1972 and 1975. The set is constructed from white opal glass with fired-on exterior colors. The arrangement includes two turquoise-blue bowls with white decorative patterns and one white bowl with a turquoise-blue pattern. The pattern consists of a scalloped line motif with pendant stylized snowflakes and dots along the upper exterior. Each bowl is a round ovenware dish featuring integrated tab handles. The largest bowl bears the base markings: 473 1 QT., TRADE MARK, 9, PYREX, (R), MADE IN U.S.A., OVENWARE. 471: 1 Pint capacity 472: 1.5 Pint capacity 473: 1 Quart capacity.
