Description
An assortment of hand-wrought iron fireplace tools and hearth accessories presented on a coordinating wall-mounted horizontal rack. The collection is designed in a rustic style reminiscent of early American or colonial metalwork. The set includes a hearth broom with a natural branch handle and bound straw bristles; a candle holder or trammel hook with a central cup and drip pan suspended by a chain; log handling tools including one with a serrated edge; and a heavy branding iron with a square head featuring an incised relief pattern. Also present are multiple long-handled pokers and hooks with varying decorative handle loops and functional ends, some featuring decorative twisted shafts. A large, heavy-duty hearth shovel with a deep, rectangular pan and a pair of spring-loaded fire tongs complete the set. The items are primarily made of hand-wrought iron with a darkened finish, showing visible hammer marks and craftsmanship details characteristic of blacksmith production. A white paper tag labeled 181 is attached to the fire tongs.
