Description
A decorative replica of the biblical Ark of the Covenant, in the style of Veronese Design. This item is designed as a rectangular storage box with a removable lid. The lid, representing the Mercy Seat, features two kneeling cherubim with their wings spread upward and meeting in the center. The sides of the chest are decorated with intricate relief panels featuring floral scrolls and central circular geometric motifs. The corner pilasters are embellished with the Star of David (Magen David). Two removable, textured staves for carrying are positioned through rings on either side of the body. The piece is finished in a bright gold-toned coating over a cast material, likely resin or a similar composite material. Dimensions: Not provided.
