B&LE RR Utility Oil Can w/ Bail Handle
Description
An industrial railroad oil filler can constructed of sheet metal with soldered seams. The cylindrical body features a conical top, an angled pouring spout, a threaded top filler cap, an attached wire bail handle secured by riveted metal brackets, and a curved sheet-metal pocket grip soldered to the lower side for two-handed pouring. The recessed circular bottom is stamped with concentric reinforcing rings. The conical top section features embossed lettering reading B & L E R R.
