Description
This decorative sculpture features a pair of mountain rams, also known as bighorn sheep, cast in metal with a dark bronze-toned finish. The figures are depicted in dynamic poses; one ram is positioned on a higher ledge with one front leg raised, while the second ram is situated lower on the rocky formation in a forward-leaning stance. Both animals exhibit molded textures representing fur and prominent, tightly curled horns. The rams are mounted to a cast base styled as a craggy, rocky outcrop, finished with a green verdigris-style patina to simulate aged stone or lichen. The entire sculpture is set upon a multi-tiered, dark-stained wooden base with decorative ogee-molded edges. No maker’s marks, signatures, or foundry stamps were detected on the metalwork or the wooden base during inspection.Measurements/notes: 9 in. L x 10 in. H.
