Description
An assortment of lithic artifacts and projectile points presented in a dark-stained wood-framed shadow box. The collection includes various chert, flint, and jasper implements in shades of tan, brown, grey, reddish-brown, and black. Notable among the pieces is a slender, dark grey bifacially flaked drill or perforator. The collection also features several notched and stemmed projectile points, along with triangular points and fragments showing varying degrees of percussion flaking and pressure retouching. Centrally placed is a large, ovate, tan-colored stone with a textured, granular surface featuring two small natural or deliberate indentations. There are no maker’s marks, signatures, or labels visible on the case or the artifacts.Measurements/notes: 11 in. L x 9 in. H.
