Description
A group of two decorative vessels comprising a tall cased glass vase and a smaller studio pottery jar. The glass vase features a baluster form with an opaque white interior cased in translucent yellow glass. The vessel is finished with an amber-colored rim, two applied black scroll handles, and a black pedestal base. The ceramic jar is of globular form with a short flared neck and features a metallic, iridescent glaze with variegated tones of green, copper, and blue. The underside of the ceramic jar is marked with an incised device consisting of two horizontal lines joined by a vertical stroke, with the lowercase script letters j, m, c written below.Measurements/notes: Pair; 12 in. and 5 in.
