Description
This lot features two mid-20th-century pressed steel toy vehicles. The first is a red utility truck with a cab-over design, a yellow plastic interior, a clear plastic windshield, and a chrome-finished front bumper. The sides of the cargo bed bear white lettering reading STRUCTO FIRE DEPT. and the black tires are molded with MADE IN U.S.A. The second is an olive drab military-style utility vehicle with embossed metal body details. A mark on the lower side panels near the rear wheel wells reads Tonka in a stylized script. The sides of the hood feature a white decal reading GR 2-2431 and the word Jeep is embossed into the front fenders and hood sides. A white star decal is applied to the center of the hood, and the rear panel is decorated with a blue and silver horizontal stripe decal. The tires are molded with the characters T O N K A. Red truck measures approximately 13 inches in total length. Olive Jeep measures approximately 9.75 inches in total length.
