Description
An assortment of custom-made fixed-blade knives featuring a variety of blade configurations, including drop-point, clip-point, and trailing-point profiles with integrated gut hooks. Several blades are constructed from pattern-welded Damascus steel displaying characteristic flowing layers, while others are fashioned from repurposed high-carbon steel files, retaining the original cross-hatched texture on the unground portions of the ricasso and spine. The handles are highly decorative, utilizing multi-colored stabilized wood, marbled green and red resins, and one handle featuring a Texas state flag motif with an inlaid star in the blue field. The handles are secured to the tangs with artistic mosaic pins, featuring a circular motif of four smaller pins. Decorative file-work or serrations are present on the spines of several blades. Each knife is paired with an individual hand-tooled leather sheath. The sheaths, primarily in shades of brown with one black example, feature various embossed patterns such as basketweave, fish scale, and simulated alligator skin. One dark brown sheath includes a snap closure with a circular brass-toned emblem that is not legible as a name or mark. Based on the provided wooden ruler, the knives range in total length from approximately 5.5 inches to 8.5 inches.
