Description
An assortment of three vintage vanity and desktop items. The first is a rectangular footed trinket box crafted from orange and cream mottled stone. The box features a gold-toned metal frame and hinged lid, supported by four cast metal feet in the form of lion’s paws. The interior of the stone is polished, while the bottom shows a matte finish. The second item is a cast metal bottle opener with a dark bronze-toned finish, depicting a stylized nude female figure in an Art Deco manner. The figure has arms raised to support a ribbed circular opening used for lifting bottle caps. The base is a small, tiered circular pedestal. The third item is a square silver-toned metal powder compact featuring a geometric design of vertical engine-turned stripes. A rectangular cartouche at the center is engraved with the initials VJA. The interior contains a square mirror set into the lid and a square pink textile powder puff with a small pink ribbon center. Stone box: 4.75 inches wide. Bottle opener: 5.75 inches high. Compact: 3 inches wide by 3 inches deep.
