Description
This large industrial storage cabinet is constructed from wood and features a two section interior layout. The left section contains 30 pigeonholes of varying dimensions arranged in six rows, while the right section consists of 32 uniform smaller cubbies in an eight row by four column grid. The exterior and interior dividers are finished in a distressed seafoam green paint, topped with a thick, dark stained solid wood surface. Several shelf edges in the left section are fitted with black metal label plates, one of which features a serrated upper edge. Numerous handwritten notations in pencil are visible on the shelf edges. On the lower right edge of the left section (Image 4), characters appear to read D, R, A, R, S, followed by E, D, G, I, N, G and S, P, L, I, N, G, with numerical notations 2 1/2 and 3 1/2 adjacent. The right section shelf edges (Image 4) bear numerical notations including 4 x 13 1/2, 4 x 12 1/2, 4 x 11 1/2, 4 x 10 1/2, 4 x 9 1/2, and 4 x 8 1/2. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible on the piece.
