Description
This coin-operated vending machine features a floor-standing design with a rectangular red enameled metal body mounted on a black-painted tubular metal pedestal stand. The unit is topped with a heavy-walled rectangular clear glass globe that currently contains a quantity of multi-colored, disc-shaped candies. The machine utilizes a manual crank-style coin mechanism with a chrome-plated faceplate and a hinged dispenser flap. The faceplate contains two small rectangular cartouches at the bottom. The left cartouche features the impressed text PAT. NO. 2846122 and the right cartouche contains PAT. NO. 2784827. A small area of embossed text is present below the coin slot handle but is not clearly legible. The chrome dispenser flap is embossed with the words THANK YOU in capital letters. Included with the machine is a pair of brass-colored keys. The pedestal stand terminates in a wide, weighted circular metal base.
